I am sad to say that Jacy passed away one day before her 13th birthday.  Sheryl and Jerry (her mom and dad), Sadie (her Eskie-sis) and I are all heartbroken and will miss her terribly.  She was a special little girl who had so much love to give.  The world will not be the same without her, but she will always remain in our hearts and a part of our souls.

She was affectionately known as "My Angel", as she had the sweetest, most tolerant temperament.  A wonderful nanny, she was in absolute Eskie heaven when puppies were tugging on her coat and pulling her ears.  She had an excellent, sturdy topline, and carried herself in a proud yet feminine manner, always flashing her irresistible Eskie expression.

Jacy retired from the show ring in August 2001 with points in both AKC and UKC but without a title, but she was still the perfect little princess.  She obtained her Canine Good Citizen certificate in April 1997 with minimal training.  She was naturally obedient and eager to please, and loved nothing more than to be held and hugged.

Jacy was also accepted as a Delta Society Pet Partner®, and during the testing proved to be very intuitive to people's feelings and needs.  Of course I knew this about her already, that's why she was "My Angel".

Many thanks to Jacy's breeders, Sue and Joel Houck of Sujo's American Eskimos in Sherwood, Michigan, for the opportunity to know and love this little girl.  She has brought such warmth and love to me and so many others.  I will always be grateful for Jacy and what she has taught me, by way of example, about love, patience, understanding and compassion.
